Welcome to RozierWilkinson Wedding Cinematography
(AKA Matt and Pete!)
Matt and Peter are two wedding filmmakers with a background covering the whole gamut of media production. They’ve worked as photographers, cinematographers, editors, directors, writers and cameramen.
Originally trained as actors, Matt went on to a successful career as a director whilst Peter went on to become a scriptwriter.
In 2009 they formed Blind Crow Pictures, a narrative film company (currently working with a BAFTA award winner) who became one of the first companies in the UK to fully embrace HDSLR cinematography. Their most recent short is currently receiving its world premiere in May 2012 at the Newport Beach film festival LA.
Blind Crow also specialise in the creation of promotional films for the commercial sector
(clients have included Barclaycard, Soho Theatre, Temple Bright, Riverside Studios, Theatre Royal Stratford, Handel House and many more).
After seeing a friends shoddily put together wedding video and proclaiming that “people deserve higher standards!” - in 2010, Matt and Peter formed RozierWilkinson and the rest, as they say (whoever they are) is history…
Matt lives in sunny Buckinghamshire with his partner Melissa, daughter Poppy and incorrigble Pug – Noo Noo.
Peter on the otherhand lives in Hexham, Northumberland. A massive benefit for the company as it means we can easily cover the entire country with ease.
WHO ARE WE?
Well, WE ARE dedicated to creating wedding films that are unique, compelling and beautiful
WE ARE passionate about what we do – meeting cool couples and telling their stories
WE AREN’T seasoned wedding videographers, ten years at it, churning out another video to make a few quid on the side
We could give you a long boring biography filled with overused cliches telling you how ‘cutting edge’ and ‘cinematic’ our work is. But we’d much prefer you to take a look around, see a few of our examples and form your own opinions about the work we create.
We really, genuinely care about two things
1) Meeting cool new people
and
2) Helping them spread the love
At heart we’re storytellers – a couple of big softies who see the uniqueness in everyone and who love helping those unique people tell their tales.
(PS. We are fully and totally aware of how corny this sounds, but we don’t care – we mean it!)
(PPS. Embrace the corn. Go on. You might like it.)
